Color to life & death
With my enthusiasm and love for art I give color to life.
But also to death.
With a performance or creation. A memory or desire. Expressive or understated. Everything that is appropriate to the wishes of the deceased or of someone in his/her final stage of life.
By personalizing my painting style on the funeral coffin, I literally and figuratively give wings to a lovingly lived life. A unique painting of the wooden box, a personal work of art. One last colorful greeting, it doesn't make saying goodbye easier, but it does make it lighter.
Colorful reminder
It is also possible to distribute the painting of the lid after the funeral. From sketch to the first brush on the box to the final work of art. I capture it with the camera and turn it into a nice little photo book. It is also possible to put the painting on an extra lid that is sawn into smaller unique works of art after the funeral. As a colorful reminder of the deceased or as a memento of his/her final resting place.
How does this work?
First we have a personal conversation in which you tell me your wishes and thoughts. If we both feel a click, we will look together at the elaboration of the ideas. Much is possible. And that also indicates that it is difficult to name a price.
But to give you an idea; a fully elaborated painting of a lid is from 750,- excl. VAT.
